HiSoftware Announces French Language Version of HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff
(PRWEB) April 12, 2010 -- HiSoftware Inc. (www.hisoftware.com), a leading provider of Web content and social media compliance solutions, today announced that the company will preview their soon to be released French language version of HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff® with RGAA accessibility checkpoints at the 4th European eAccessibility Forum in Paris, France on April 12, 2010.
Dominique Burger, President, BrailleNet France, said, "The French release of Compliance Sheriff is an important step towards providing organizations with solutions for addressing Web accessibility for the benefit of people with disabilities. BrailleNet acknowledges HiSoftware’s creative effort and dedication to accessibility, delivering much needed tools to the software development community."
HiSoftware President and CEO, Kurt A. Mueffelmann, stated, “With the approval of the RGAA guidelines in late 2009, we anticipate a strong demand for the French language HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff solution. In addition to providing native language support, Compliance Sheriff will provide French users with a built-in set of checkpoints for RGAA validation to help organizations quickly identify and address any compliance issues with the French standard and other international accessibility standards including WCAG 2.0.”
The French language version of HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff will provide users with a localized UI and documentation, as well as an out-of-box set of checkpoints for validating content against France’s Administration's General Accessibility Framework requirements (RGAA - 'Référentiel Général d'Accessibilité pour les Administrations' in French) which apply to any online services and contents provided by national and local government. It will also enable organizations to easily validate their websites, intranets, document libraries, email, and social and collaborative media content for compliance against standards-based and custom organizational policies for Privacy, Social Media/Collaboration, Brand Corruption, and Site Quality, in addition to local and international Accessibility standards.
HiSoftware will preview the French version of HiSoftware Compliance Sheriff at the 4th European eAccessibility Forum in a session presented by Thomas Logan, HiSoftware’s Vice President of Product Management entitled “Incorporating Automation into an End-to-End Accessibility Program,” as part of the “Instruments Supporting eAccessibility” track.
